Last night we managed to get a realm 3rd kill for Blade Lord Ta’yak on heroic difficulty. Overall, a very enjoyable and challenging fight made stupidly easy with the aid of a Disc Priest (hi), but only when ‘Unseen Strike’ doesn’t decide to randomly bug out and not split damage between everyone.
Additionally, Thalden our main tank will soon need to cut down on his raiding hours to spend more time drawing dicks for his graphic design course at Uni. As such, there’ll be a spot open in our raiding group for pretty much any class and role (we’d prefer not to have melee DPS, but we could work around this).
So, if you’re better than Thalden (this isn’t hard to achieve) and interested in joining us for progression raiding while it’s current and challenging – then be sure to post an application sooner rather than later!

Sadly i was away for this kill, but i’ve been reliably informed that a) it was a stupidly easy kill and b) goons still managed to fall down the hole.
Anyway, we got the realm 2nd kill for Elegon on heroic difficulty and have now obtained an overall world ranking of 663rd.
Additionally, congratulations go to Kingsfall who got realm 1st 6/6 Mogu’shan Vaults Heroic done – credit where credits due pals!

Unfortunately, we’ve all been struggling to find the spare time needed to finish off our challenge mode runs, but it’s OK though since we’ve been killing heroic raid bosses instead! We achieved a respectful realm 3rd ranking by successfully killing Gara’jal the Spiritbinder on heroic difficulty, which also puts us on an overall world ranking of 759th.
Heroic Gara’jal was a difficult fight to master and the strategies involved were made even more difficult by the fights extremely tight DPS check. Thankfully, we all enjoy tackling challenging content in much the same way Quotey enjoys challenging himself everyday to string a coherent sentence together – we got things wrong a lot of the time, but we persevered and eventually got the job done. Ohh, and the less i talk about our feeble attempts to utilise a Disc Priest, the better (ask me about using Penance).

Just a quick update to mention that YOGS have successfully cleared all six normal-mode bosses within the new MOP raiding dungeon – Heart of Fear.
Very enjoyable boss mechanics throughout this raid dungeon and we’ll no doubt enjoy tackling all of them on heroic difficulty. Well, everyone except for Cups who last night blew a mental fuse and got hilariously angry when McDonalds got his order wrong and then he kept dying to Attenuation rings. Cups, we all hope you’ve mellowed out now and that you’ve made a full recovery (also, you should be eating at KFC instead).

When YOGS arn’t busy getting high, doing dailies or complaining about having to do dailies – we’re killing shit, while high! We achieved a realm 2nd ranking by successfully killing Feng the Accursed on heroic difficulty, which also gained us a world ranking of 460th.
Overall, it’s a relatively easy fight (somewhat easier than Stone Guard) with very little difference from normal mode. We’re up against Heroic Gara’jal the Spiritbinder next and from what we’re all heard, we’re expecting this to be a much worthier challenge for us.
In other news, we’ve unfortunately had to throttle back on our recruitment requirements for now. While we’re still open to any exceptional applications for any class or spec, we currently have an open spot for a decent Moonkin Druid to immediately join our raiding team. There is a stipulation however – you must also have a Guardian off-spec and be fully skilled, capable and willing to play it. If you think that you meet this criteria, then feel free to make an application today.
